Is there any simple way to figure out what a specific package needs???
In this, latest case I’m trying to install exfat-utils using a deb package with Gnome Software.
Thanks for any pointers!

That would usually be:

sudo apt install exfat-utils

Unless maybe you are hitting a bug like this.
